Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum – ISESCO Prize For Voluntary Development of Education Facilities in the Islamic World

In 2017, Hamdan-ISESCO Prize for Voluntary Development of Education Facilities was launched with support of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in cooperation with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
The Prize aims to motivate and honor those involved in volunteering initiatives and charitable works in the field of education, specifically for the development of educational facilities in the Islamic world countries.
Every two years, the Prize rewards three winners of individuals or institutions that contributed to the development of educational facilities in the Islamic world countries.
The value of the prize is US $300,000. Every laureate receives a winner certificate and a reward of US $100,000 to be employed in the development of charitable work, especially support of educational facilities. The second edition of the prize will be adjudicated in 2020 and hence the result announcement and honoring ceremony will be held in 2021.
Who is eligible?
Candidates can be voluntary entities, charities and donors, who provide charitable services to the development of educational facilities in the Islamic world countries.
